Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia has topped the nation again in ‘Clean up Australia Day’ on Sunday 4th March 2018 with most number of volunteers and most funds raised. Total 31 sites were cleaned by 1,094 volunteers across the nation, collecting 2,370kg of rubbish and donating $ 1,300.

National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia and Grand Imam Mr. I. H. Kauser said:
“I’m very pleased by the outstanding effort from the community in Clean Up Australia Day. Islam reinforces the importance of cleanliness on individual and societal levels. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has said that cleanliness is part of faith. Hence it is our responsibility to keep our surroundings neat and clean. Clean-Up Australia Day is Australia’s largest environmental event and to top in both categories (most number of volunteers and most fund raised) again shows that we care about the environment and our neighbors.”
