Nigeria: Muslim and Christian students clash over blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad, University shuts down

Yola has reportedly been shut down following a clash between Muslim and Christian students yesterday, Sunday, February 4, 2018.

The crisis which resulted in a riot between the two groups has seen some school properties set on fire.

According to reports, the riot was triggered by a Christian student's alleged blasphemous remark against Prophet Muhammad.

The Muslim students are said to have reported the matter to the school management and they were assured the issue would be investigated.
