A two-hour workshop was held in a mosque to teach people how to save someone’s life in case of an emergency.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Associations of Erskine Road, Walthamstow hosted the ‘Learn to Save a Life’ event on behalf of Waltham Forest Faith Forum.
The course presented by Sheila and Eddy Williams of the British Heart Foundation focused on administering CPR, stemming bleeding, spotting signs of a heart attack and helping someone who is choking.
Revd Cllr Paul Braham of Leytonstone and Wanstead Synagogue, Revd Dan Copperwheat from Greenleaf Road Baptist Church in Walthamstow and Arif Khan, imam at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association were among those who took part.
