Sri Lanka: Quran Sinhala Translation gifted to federal minister Mano Ganesan


Minister admitted that no religion has ever taught to promote violence in any form whatsoever. The image of Islam being damaged in the sight of other religions, because of certain elements, Minister added.

A three member delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) comprising Mr. A. Abdul Aziz, Press Secretary and National Director Faith Outreach – AMJSL, Moulavi A.B. Musthaq Ahmad – Chief Missionary (AMJSL), and Mr. I. Shakeel Ahmad (Photographer) visited to office of Hon. Mano Ganesan,  Minister of National Co-existence Dialogue and Official languages  in Colombo today (29/01/2018).

Prior to the presentation of the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to the Minister, Jama’at delegation briefed to the Minister about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at showing the picture of Promised Messiah (a.s.) and said that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s.) claimed to be the Promised Reformer of this age as foretold in four major religions of the world, namely Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam. After his demise, the system of Khilafath established in this Community as of system of Caliph established after the demise of Prophet of Islam (PBUH). While pointed out this, it was observed Minister was also well aware of Islamic history on this very point.
