Danny Ings wants to leave Liverpool, where will he go next

Transfer Talk - Matthijs de Ligt

Juventus have reportedly agreed personal terms with 18-year-old (19 in August) Spurs former target, Ajax centre-back and captain Matthijs de Ligt. It has been clear for a while now that his preference was to join Juventus, undoubtedly the reason we pulled out of the contest to sign him.

Transfer Talk - Danny Ings

I wrote earlier in the window that 25-year-old (26 in July) Liverpool striker Danny Ings might be a good option to go for as a backup striker for Harry Kane. Now the Daily Mirror are reporting that we are supposedly interested. We, of course, tried to sign him when he left Burnley, but he chose Liverpool and has had 2 years of injuries.

Rumours of him going to Rangers are obviously in full flow with Steven Gerrard now in charge up there. I can't see him making such a backward step myself. He wants to leave for first team football and a successful backup striker would get more game time.

Transfer Talk - Heung-min Son

A German paper report that Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing 25-year-old (26 in July) Heung-min Son this summer and talkSPORT suggest therefore that they are ready to test our resolve, which is pure guesswork on their part.

Arsenal are not in the UEFA Champions League so have nothing to offer him, they are obviously dismissed immediately, leaving Liverpool, who can offer him no more than we are offering him anyway so it's hardly likely he would want to go there.

That leaves Manchester United and quite frankly, I don't see them making an offer at all, especially with 2 years national service hanging over him. He would make a strange signing.

I think we can safely say it is garbage from talkSPORT over them 'testing our resolve'. Clearly, the journalist hasn't researched his article at all, just written some garbage, rather common for themI'm afraid.
