Son Heung-min in the Asian Games Final

Son Heung-min is now one win away from being exempt from military service after South Korea Under-23'smade it through to the 18th Asian Games final.

The multi-sport event is being held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang. The football tournament takes place between 10 August and 1 September.
South Korea overcame Iran 2-0 in the last 16, Uzbekistan 4-3 in the quarter-finals and Vietnam 3-1 in the semifinals.

South Korea finished second in Group E to reach the knockout stages of the tournament, while Vietnam topped Group D.

Hwang U is the leading scorer at the tournament with 9 goals, his nearest rival has 4, there are 9 players tied on 4goals.

Japan and the United Arab Emirates contest the other semi-final. Japan finished second in Group D, while United Arab Emirates finished 3rd in Group C.

Anything can happen in a final, but surely South Korea have an excellent chance, in what is the last chance saloon for Sonny to avoid compulsory military service for 2 years.

Good luck Sonny, I'm sure all Spurs fans are rooting for you.
