The power output from the synchronous motor is rated at 160kW @ 1500 rpm. and a maximum speed of 3500 rpm is quoted.
The electric chassis has been designed with maximum flexibility to accommodate a wide range of body styles and body manufacturers.
Also displayed on the Caetano stand are a Levante 111 developed specifically for National Express. The display vehicle is 14.9 m which means that it is the longest coach ever developed in the Caetano factory.
It has a seating capacity of 59 seats or 57 seats plus wheelchair user and a luggage capacity of 11.5 square meters. Politecnica Relax seats are provided together with individual USB sockets.
A very impressive Caetano vehicle on show was the double deck Invictus as developed for Northern Ireland operator Translink. It is 14.3 m long and has a seating capacity of 86.
It has an aluminium body for weight reduction purposes which also benefits in resistance to corrosion resistance and gains in fuel efficiency.
Considering that the vehicle has been developed for service work it has an extremely comfortable and luxurious interior.
