Ahmadiyya communities run for good cause and raise donations for charity
For years Ahmadiyya communities in the region have been committed to society. They not only fulfill a religious duty, they also show their will for integration. With a donation run, the city council now raised funds for the schools of the municipality and for relief organizations. The Ahmadiyya communities are especially known for cleaning the streets of the New Year's Fireworks on New Year's Day. Less well-known is that many members of the youth organization always visit senior citizens in dormitories. In this context, the mosques repeatedly point out that it is a religious duty of Islam to help its fellow human beings, and especially to serve their host country.
