According to Secretary-General Baldeh, they had written to many organisations in the country, but the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at was the first organisation to respond to their call.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at on Monday donated a cash amount of D5, 000 to the Network of Gender Journalists for Women and Cultural Advancement (NoGJWCA), as part of their support for the launch of the network.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony of the cash at the Amir’s office in Tallinding, Alhaji Ebrima Mbowe, second deputy Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, thanked the executive of NoGJWCA for writing to the Jama’at to brief them about the network and its activities towards national development.
He said the Jama’at is a friend of the media, as they have been working with the media for a long time, adding that coming up with such kind of network was very important. He assured the executive of NoGJWCA that the Jama’at would do more to support the network. He said journalists are partners in development and they will do everything possible to support the network.
