AN EXHIBITION promoting peace and unity in British communities will be held in Romsley this weekend.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is running the event at St Kenelm Church Hall, in Bromsgrove Road, on Saturday, October 21 from 12pm to 2pm.

It is part of the organisation’s ‘United against Extremism’ campaign, which is aimed at countering extremist rhetoric and drive home a message of peace.

The event will begin with a presentation on the history of the UK Ahmadiyya Muslim community, whose motto is "love for all, hatred for none".

Displays promoting peace with translated excerpts of Quranic verses along with other literature will then be viewable. Tea and biscuits will be served to participants.
