Indonesia: Ahmadiyya Muslim youth clean up fireworks waste after New Years party in Sidoarjo Square

After the start of 2018, Ahmadiyah youth group of Sidoarjo has been doing routine cleaning of the city early in the morning as part of the Clean The City Movement, which has been activated in many cities in 211 countries in World. In Indonesia the movement was conducted in 60 cities more or less in the previous years.

According to Jilani, Ahmadiyya Youth Chairman in Sidoarjo, every January 1st after the dawn prayer at the Grand Mosque Sidoarjo district, our team immediately clear along the city center the fireworks used in celebration of the new year.

This is done so that if there are out-of-town residents who visit the city of Sidoarjo want to take advantage of a place like the city park and other appropriate to relax on the day of the morning, the location has been cleared of the remnants of waste after the New Year celebration, "Thank God this time more from 100 participants who participated "Jaelani said reporting on activities Monday (01/01/2018).
