The lecturer, Alhaji Abdul Azeez Alatoye, advised Muslims to ensure justice and compassion in their interactions with other people so that some negative perceptions about Islam could change.

NO fewer than 20 couples were joined in marriage at the 65th annual convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, held in Ilaro, Ogun State.
At the ceremony, which took place at the convention and attended by over 35,000 participants from different parts of the country, prayers were offered by clerics that the unions be blessed and the newlyweds granted love and understanding.
Speakers at the event urged Muslims and other Nigerians to always stand for peace in order to promote social order as enjoined by the Holy Qur’an.
The Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Dr Mashhud Fashola, admonished religious and political leaders across the world to obey God’s commandments in governance and justice administration.
