The YCC group was treated to a wonderful lunch of curry chicken, rice, roasted chick peas, pita bread, and salads. It was a wonderful feast prepared by the Mosque’s own chef.

Sun Lakes Yiddish Culture Club visited Baitful Hameed Mosque in Chino this month, following the club’s desire to Build Bridges in today’s world.
At the invitation of the President of the Ahmadiyyan Muslim Community, Faheem Ahmed, approximately 50 YCC members and guests, Jewish and non-Jewish alike, visited the Mosque–-the largest in Southern California.
Rabbi Hillel Cohn of Congregation Emanu El in Redlands, also joined the group.
The visitors were warmly greeted by Faheem Ahmed and Imam Irshad Malhi. The Imam provided them with valuable insight on the founding of the Ahmadiyyan Muslims in Pakistan, and the current challenges they face with persecution from “mainstream Muslims.”
