It's Beano Day (or Wednesday as boring people call it) and this week's issue is bagged with gifts for summer holiday fun. Inside the comic itself you'll find all the usual favourites in all-new stories including the Bash Street Kids, Minnie the Minx, and of course Dennis and Gnasher.

This week's Big Eggo strip was written by Nigel Auchterlounie, who stepped in when I had the 'flu a few months ago and my foggy brain couldn't think of a suitable gag. Thanks, Nigel! (It'll be back to normal next week, with me on scripts and art.)
