PSG needs to sell £52.6m of players for FFP
PSG need to raise fund to meet FFP requirements |
Adrien Rabiot
Tottenham tried to sign Frenchman Adrien Rabiot on loan and PSG put barrier after barrier in the way. Since then Spurs have followed the now 23-year-old (24 next April).
UEFA say that PSG must raise £52.6 million (€60m) by the end of June to comply with Financial Fair Play rules. Italians champions Juventus are favourites to sign him. Liverpool are believed to have bid £23.67 million (€27m) for him.
New PSG boss Thomas Tuchel wants to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl so PSG may have to raise more.
Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that PSG Director of Sport Antero Henrique was in Milan on Wednesday and held several meetings with Italian clubs, including Juventus.
He publicly refused to be on standby for the World Cup and does seem to have a history of being hot-headed. His contract with the French side ends next summer. There was speculation and a refusal to sign a new contract during his last negotiations so nothing can be taken as gospel with this guy.
