Indonesia: House of Representative no-show at hearing on Ahmadiyah constitutional petition

Jakarta / Lei - The House of Representatives (DPR) again did not attend the judicial review session of the Constitutional Court (MK) related to the examination of Article 1, Article 2 and Article 3 of the Defamation Law filed by Ahmadiyah Community.

"Well, the House of Representatives did not attend; there was a letter in conjunction with the internal meeting because it was just starting the trial at the beginning of this year," said Chairman of the Constitutional Court Justice Arief Hidayat at the Constitutional Court Building Jakarta on Wednesday.
