The New Focus Flickr Site

It was Billy J. Kramer who once wrote and performed a song 'Trains and Boats and Planes' and the first verse went as follows:

"Trains and boats and planes are passing by

They mean a trip to Paris or Rome
To someone else but not for me
The trains and boats and planes
Took you away, away from me"

Here though we do not take things away as illustrated by the New Focus Flickr site, which recently passed its 4-million views mark. And what's more it's not just trains, boats and planes, there's a whole variety of modes of transport to be seen. Buses, coaches, monorail, hovercraft to name others.

Since 2014 when the site was overhauled there have been buses and coaches from the four corners of the United Kingdom and Ireland

They also came from other countries

There were trains from around the UK and abroad

Trams from around the UK and abroad

And finally boats and planes

Oh yes nearly forgot, London also gets a look in now and again

Whilst a good many albums have been created by the in-house team, others have been supplied by a miscellany of photographers, for which we are most grateful.

We hope to continue to provide as much variety on the site as we can and move on now to 5-million and beyond over the forthcoming months and years.
