Yet another Sporting CP player we are interested in 22yo (23 in Dec) attacking midfielder Ryan Gauld.

The Scottish U-21 was on loan at Desportivo Alves last season and has now returned to Sporting B, Celtic, Rangers & Liverpool interested.

For those unaware the fans attacked players and staff in a violent attack and players are now sending letters to the club terminating their contract with 'just cause'. That is going to put the club in financial difficulty, as they are losing their assets (players) for nothing.

No income, yet they will need replacing and Sporting are one of the big three in Portugal. I would have thought he might get some opportunities next season so might just be in his best interested to stay where he is.
