Introducing Buzz

We are delighted to introduce a brand new route from Monday 2 October - Buzz!

Buzz is a new route that will run between Kenavon Drive and Rivermead Leisure Centre via the town centre. Initially this service will use a Mercedes Sprinter minibus fully branded in the Buzz colours and will be numbered 42 or 42a.

Buzz fares

Buzz will have some special fares for different parts of the journey, but will broadly fall under the normal simplyReading fare structure. You can pay by cash (exact fare please as our drivers don't carry change), contactless or using our mobile app (please note the special single fares between town and Rivermead/Kenavon Drive are currently not on the app).
