Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at-The Gambia on 5 December 2017 donated a cash amount of D6, 000 to the Organisation for Social Development and Inclusion for Visually Impaired (OSDIVI) as its contribution toward the organization’s preparation to commemorate World Disability Day.
OSDIVI will mark the day on Saturday 9 December 2017, beginning with a march pass from Bakoteh Mall to Kanifing.
Organisation for Social Development and Inclusion for Visually Impaired (OSDIVI) is a young disabled persons’ organisation established in 2011 in order to realize the UN strategy to promote disability issues as human rights issues and the need to advance the cause of persons with disabilities to meet their full potentials to develop themselves, families and society as dignified world citizens.
