UK: Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth in Dewbury and Spin Valley Mark End of Ramadan by Serving Humanity


Throughout Ramadan, a month when charity and serving humanity is actively encouraged, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth also collected clothes for the Humanity First appeal.

'It's good to see Muslims and Christians working together for the common good'

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association in Dewsbury and Spen Valley marked the end of the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan by joining up with Reverend Simon Cash and his team at Dewsbury Minister to feed the homeless and needy on Saturday 24 June 2017.  They were joined by local MP – Ms Paula Sherriff and Mrs Sharon Kingsland – Community Champion at ASDA in Dewsbury.

The Minster regularly takes care of the local homeless and needy by providing them with sandwiches and a warm drink.  On this occasion sandwiches, personally prepared by Mrs Kingsland, and portions of Chicken Korma, prepared by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth, were also provided.  In total approximately 20 people were fed.
