TRANSFER TALK
Tottenham are still monitoring developments of 17-year-old (18 next May) Jadon Sancho at Manchester City who has failed to report to training several times after being left out of the clubs pre-season tour of the US by Pep Guardiola. The England Under-17 international (he has 16 caps and has scored 13 goals after scoring 6 goals in 7 games for the England Under-16 side) wouldn't be the first Manchester City youngster to be disgruntled at the lack of opportunity for youth players at the club, they don't have a recent track record anyway. When was the last time they brought one through the ranks?
Manchester United are pushing hard for his signature, while Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Leipzig are also interested. The right-footed inverted left winger is under contract until 2020. He scored 12 goals in 14 Under-18 Premier League games. In total he scored 20 goals in 35 games with a further 8 assists.
Where will he end up, City will obviously try and force him to stay, will we get him. A few weeks will give us the answers.
