Germany: Ahmadiyya Elders charity walk in Balingen brings in €2,500


All children under the age of 15 were given a small present. "We want to return something with this charity walk of the community," said the Imam Mansoor Ghuman of Ahmadiyya, responsible for the Zollernalbkreis.

The first attempt of the "Ahmadiyya Charity Walk" organized by Majlis Ansarullah Germany and the city of Balingen fell victim to a thunderstorm. On Sunday, however, the weather played along well and the event became a success.

The motto of the Charity Walk of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, "Love for all, hatred for no one" is a guiding principle for all peaceful and tolerant people, explained Rafigue Khawaja from the Ahmadiyya Social Services Center. "We want to spread peace and tolerance through dialogue, education and cooperation."

The sun came out promptly, and about 60 runners made the ten rounds in the Balinger Bizerba Arena.
