TRANSFER TALK

It is coming towards the end of the season and Spurs are releasing players from the academy who we don't think will become first-team members.

Anton Walkes had his contract terminated by mutual consent in March after the 20-year-old (21 next February) centre-back was loaned out to MLS side Atlanta United in January. Thus far he has played 53 minutes of MLS football over two games and scored one own goal.

We have now released 18-year-old (19 in September) striker Aramide Oteh who has been training with QPR since January. He joined them on work experience, a short term loan for youngsters basically, after appearing for their development side.

Arrangements were put in place at the time when QPR took him that they could sign him when they had assessed him. We then released him and after scoring 6 goals in 6 games for the QPR Under-23 side the West London club have given him a 0ne-year contract.
