The Tottenham Hotspur livery van

With the new stadium construction over half way through now and really starting to become exciting now the stands are taking shape I thought I'd bring you news of a completed construction.

Bap Athwal builds model cars as a hobby and he thought he would have a go at building something Spurs related. The finished article is very impressive, but it isn't for sale.

He finished his Revell 1/24 T1 Samba bus in Tottenham Hotspur livery at the end of March. The white paint he used was Badger Air Opaque Acrylic, the blue paint was Humbrol Midnight Blue Acrylic.

1k of Upol Clear Coat was used and it was polished out using 2500 grit and then Meguiars 3 Step Polishing System to give it the high gloss look.

The decals were home made and laser printed, as were the pennant, scarves, shirt and programs which are placed inside. A photoetched can of Heineken and pair of sunglasses were also placed inside.

The trim decals were replaced with bare metal foil and the blue stripe was done with Xtradecal Blue stripes. The engine has spark plug wiring.

Bap Athwal Sorry to disappoint but I won't be selling these, it's a one off for myself.
It takes a lot of man hours to build.
