Aleñá looks set to stay at Barcelona

TRANSFER TALK

Having reported the Carles Aleñá story and seen others talk of Everton, Newcastle United and release clauses rising this weekend, I have done some digging and found a quote from him that suggests he is not interested in leaving Barcelona at all.

"I've already told my agents that I want to stay at Barcelona, I'm not listening to any offers"

Mundo Deportivo suggest Barcelona are fast tracking a renewal deal for the highly-rated midfielder and are assuring him he will see more first team action next season, having had him training with the first team this season and sitting on the bench frequently. Another option is to loan him out to Real Betis.

He hasn't made a final decision it seems and despite his agents close links with Pochettino, the youngster looks set to stay in Spain for another year at least. That will come as a disappointment as he is thought to be a star of the future.

if you don't go after these players you can't sign them and we certainly get linked with a few.
