Portuguses newspaper O Jogo are reporting that 28-year-old (29 next March) international midfielder Adrien Silva to Tottenham is still a possibility it’s likely, they say, that he and William Carvalho could both still leave Sporting CP.
Tottenham have apparent;y spoken to the representatives of 21-year-old (22 next July) French Under-21 international striker Moussa Dembélé at Celtic.
Manu Lonjon, a French journalist working for Yahoo Sport France and based in Montpellier, claims Spurs representatives have indeed met with Dembélé and his advisers twice in the last week. He met with us last week in London and this week in Paris, where we have been spending some time lately!.
He would certainly be an upgrade on Vincent Janssen and allow him to leave. He would allow Harry Kane to have some rest as the season progresses and allow Pochettino to play him in the number 10 role to give the opposition another problem, or play them as a front two, changing systems mid-game perhaps.
