Sissoko message to Spurs fans was basically bugger off if you don't like me staying

Moussa Sissoko says he is staying at Tottenham, Juventus want other targets, Trabzonspor want a loan and we want a permanent deal. A loan simply means you delay a problem, you get a problem back.

That creates even more problems as you have had to buy to cover the position and now you have two players, paying two sets of wages and everyone knows one of them you don't want and can thus bid cheaply for.

Clubs next summer will simply want to offer loan deals with buy options then and you have the same problem. A sale is easily in our best intersts and Valencia have emerged as a possible destination.

Spanish outlet Onda Cero report that Valencia are looking at making a move for him as the window closes down. We would need to have a replacement lined up to let him go and that doesn't look on the cards at the moment, although there is news of a late move for Thomas Lemar.

He though, is way overpriced for what he has achieved in one season and Monaco do not want to sell him.

Inter MIlan have enquired, but another issue is his wages, neither the Spanish, nor the Italians would want to pay his wages and would look to us to subsidise them. That reduces what we can pay a replacement so again, a loan deal has few advantages for us, it creates more problems than it solves.

Quite frankly his attitude on Instagram is dreadful. To tell a supporter to just unfollow him if he doesn't want him at the club shows no regard for the fans at all. He isn't interested in trying to demonstrate any commitment to the club or commitment to turn things around, no, if you don't like it, bugger off was basically his message.
