Spurs winger hunt: Zaha, Lemar, Gray

TRANSFER TALK

With other targets falling by the wayside and a poor start at Wembley, results wise, Tottenham have  reignited interest in 24-year-old (25 in November) Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha it seems. It is highly unlikely that the London side would let him leave this late in the window, or indeed at any time during the window.

L'Equipe remind us once again that Spurs remain keen on signing AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, even though Monaco don't ant to sell and that he is way overpriced at something around £46.25 million (€50m - AUS$74.95m - US$59.75m).

Gianluca di Marzio  reports that Tottenham Hotspur have bid' £25 million (€27.10m - AUS$40.84m - US$32.30m) for 21-year-old (22 next July) England Under-21 winger Demerai Gray, but that Leicester City are holding out for £30 million (€32.52m - AUS$49m - US$38.76m).

The Daily Mail tell us he is not a target for Tottenham in this window and that we are unlikely to place a bid. They call him a star, yet he can't get in the Leicester City side, how does that make him a star? It is a way overused term, every football player is not a star. he has played 32 minutes of Premier League football over 3 games.

Crystal Palace have been talking about a potential deal for him involving Andros Townsend, who it seems isn't wanted by yet another club. Bournemouth and Everton have also been linked. Gray was part of the England Under-20 side that won the recent FIFA World Cup.
