The Worldwide Head and Caliph of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Mirza Masroor Ahmad has condemned the oppression of women accross the world saying Islam is vehemently opposed to the oppression of the female folk in all ramifications.
Masroor Ahmad stated this while addressing no fewer than 15,000 Muslim women from over 100 countries during the three-day United Kingdom’s largest Islamic convention held at the women’s marquee, Hadeeqatul Mahdi (Oakland Farm), Green Street, East Worldham, Alton, Hampshire, London last Saturday.
The international convention, known as the JalsaSalana, designed to promote the peaceful teachings of Islam, the convention was aimed at countering extremists’ views and misinterpretations about Islam.
