TRANSFER TALK
Tottenham have watched 24-year-old (25 next February) Ajax captain Davy Klaassen but it is Everton who are in negotiations with him and the Liverpool Echo suggest personal terms have been agreed.
The Dutch (he has 14 full international caps scoring 4 goals) attacking midfielder is worth £20 million (€22.89m - AUS$33.69m - US$25.51) in the Daily Mirror and £26 million (€29.75m - AUS$43.78m - US$33.18m) in the Daily Telegraph.
We are scouring Europe for young strikers and one on the Chelsea radar so no doubt on ours as well is 17-year-old (18 next Jan) Hamburg forward Jann-Fiete Arp. The right-footed centre-forward is a German Under-17 (he has 12 international caps scoring 12 goals) and is under contract until 2018. He plays for the Hamburg Under-17 side Northwest Regional Bundesliga.
He is being watched by a string of clubs across Europe and the UEFA website suggests his role model is our own Harry Kane, who he says has a similar game, in which case we are sure to be watching him.
